Ezra 4

Society has no problem with any belief as long as there is no claim to exclusive truth. The world battles against anyone who claims exclusive truth. Christian's belief based on Scripture of one God and one way to be right with Him through Jesus Christ is the cause of much animosity. The pressure to worship God, but in partnership with every other spiritual belief seems stronger than than ever. The Jews faced the same pressures when they were building the new temple. The choice then as it is now is between the favor of man or favor of God. To profess that all religions are good and valuable and equally true is to rebel against God and worship the lie and the Father of Lies.
